Many of us run multiple projects and use a mix of new, fast machines and older, slower machines. The current two day deadline is not sufficient because it throws our slower machines into panic mode and runs DNA@home long work units at high priority shutting off the normal scheduler and work flow.

If you extended the deadline to four days, this would allow DNA@Home to play nice with our slower machines.

Thanks

And there is something else happening in slower machines.
Workunits that had been running for hours in priority mode, suddenly stop and others take their place in priority mode. What happens then is that there is no time left for none of them to complete in time.

That what I had to do, or none of them would end in time.
