Don't know if anyone has asked yet, but are you planning to export the stats for this project? I can't access the stats directory, but perhaps I'm just being stupid :)

Ah, someone started a thread while I was posting this :)

Best lock this thread and keep everything on this one:

Think I have the stat exports working -- the appropriate scripts are running at any rate. Let me know if there's anything else I need to do to get it working right.

maybe you should have a look at estimated flops - it's way off!

Really high or really low? I am giving out quite a bit of credits for this WUs since we're still really early in alpha and there's a pretty good chance that a result may not get credit even it did some work.

The estimated run time is to high. But BOINC clients will adapt to it via DCF (I think!?!)

Credit is pretty hot, but get the app/validator/etc running smoothly first. Expect an influx of volunteers once the project hits the stats sites. Expect the GPU brigade to start hassling soon.

The thing is, what it all boils down to, is are you getting useful results? Everything else is secondary.

When trying to access http://dnahome.cs.rpi.edu/dna/stats/, I get

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /dna/stats/ on this server.

Looks like you need to make the directory readable by us mere mortals.

That's just directory listing switched off in apache which is OK. We can access the individual files just fine..

Stats added to Free-DC, they'll show up within 30mins or so at

http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=proj&proj=dna

The files in the directory are readable, just not the directory themselves. Just asked the boinc mailing list and they said that should be okay.
