Is there anyway to tell the difference in the EXACT & EXACT2 Wu when it's on your Computer since there seems to be no way to select which one you want in your Preferences ???

EXACT Convolutional Neural Network Trainer: yes
EXACT Convolutional Neural Network Trainer: no

Hi Steve,

Both of these applications are being deprecated, so I would not worry about them. We've now moved to EXACT MNIST and EXACT CIFAR. I'm just leaving EXACT and EXACT2 up and going while the last workunits come back in so people are awarded credit for their work done.

The EXACT MNIST application is evolving and training CNNs for the MNIST handwritten digits dataset, and should have memory requirements around 400-600MB.

The EXACT CIFAR application is evolving and training CNNs for the CIFAR-10 dataset, and should have memory requirements around 1.4-1.6GB.

Right now I'm just sending out EXACT MNIST workunits as I'm trying to put together some results for a publication.

Hope that helps!
